Join us for a cleaner tomorrow!

Waste Busters was formed in 1996 as a non profit organization in a small community in Lahore, Pakistan to address the issue of garbage pollution at community level.

Since then, Waste Busters has grown in to an internationally recognized fully integrated waste management organization with operations in all major cities of Pakistan and linkages in the developing countries of South Asia such as India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Waste Busters has received recognition from agencies such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNDP for its Model of a sustainable solution of community based solid waste management. The organization is the pioneer in Pakistan of municipal waste recycling and has established a Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and a Compost Plant to Produce organic fertilizer in Lahore, Pakistan. Plans are under way to establish similar units in other parts of the Country.

Waste Busters is now entered into agreements with international organizations to establish a Waste to Energy Plant and to Produce Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) from municipal waste Pakistan.

Waste Busters has also entered into contract negotiations with a U.K. based firm to purchase its Carbon Credits earned from the above projects.
